Thursday evening<\/p>\n

Jess dear… I have spent this evening with Cyril W. and Dave Lubick. I went to Cyril’s place alone, but Dave turned up whilst I was there. Peg did not return with Cyril: she was taken ill on the day of the funeral and it will probably be a further week or two before she rejoins Cyril.<\/p>\n

As there was no mail for me today, I think the foregoing just about completes my ‘news’ for the day. It is late too, Jess,- so I will leave you now.<\/p>\n
