R.T.R.<br \/>\nB.L.A.<\/p>\n<p>24.1.45<\/p>\n<p>Jess dear&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Conditions are not so good for a long letter this evening, but I know a few words are better than nothing.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, am sitting in a <strong>comfortable<\/strong> drawing room and some of my colleagues are amusing themselves with a first class radio-gram. A large bottle of port wine has been &#8220;laid-on&#8221; by our host and hostess, so the atmosphere is quite congenial. Have today found a genuine bathroom, complete with bath&#8230; the first I have seen since leaving England. Intend to make use of it before going to bed.
