Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Jess dear,<\/p>\n

I have not been able to write a decent letter this evening, so please forgive this short note… Also, I doubt whether I will be able to write tomorrow evening as we are holding a dance, and I will be on duty… as chief bartender-!<\/p>\n

But here is a little item of news which may help to compensate for scarcity of letters:- it concerns my leave.<\/p>\n

I have learned today that I should be in England on Feby 13th… barring the usual unforeseen circumstances. I may<\/strong> therefore be home on the evening of the 13th… or in the early morning of the 14th… depending on the route of my homeward journey.<\/p>\n

Will write more fully on this subject later.<\/p>\n
