England.<\/p>\n<p>11.6.44.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>My Dear Jess, Time is now getting on, and there is little I can say under present circumstances, but I want to implore you once again to try and forget depressing thoughts. Just continue with your calm optimism&#8230; and let little Barry occupy all your thoughts and attention&#8230; By so doing, you will be helping me. I expect there will soon be some delays in your letters, but I know that I will ultimately receive them, and you can imagine how I will look forward to them. And please don&#8217;t be alarmed if you don&#8217;t hear from me for a little while. I will send you word as frequently as I am allowed.<\/p>\n<p>It is impossible for me to write to all our friends and relations, but I hope you will remember me to them. I am looking forward to seeing them all again in the not too distant future&#8230; And I am living eagerly for the day when I will be with you once again.<\/p>\n<p>Never forget, dear, that I love you and that you will always be in my thoughts, with little Barry.
