Jessie Mine: I have been writing to Les Stanley… and have been at the job for hours… and still haven’t finished. I intended giving a very sketchy resume of the unit’s activities over here – but so many personalities have cropped up and the letter has become much longer than I intended.<\/p>\n

I cannot go to bed without saying ‘howdy’ to my sweetheart – hoping that she will forgive this lousy little effort.<\/p>\n

Have no news, dear. We are still awaiting ‘orders’-!! More tomorrow.<\/p>\n
