Jessie Mine: There was a letter for me today, thank goodness: I feel happier now that we have re-established contact. But you must not get the impression that I expect daily letters from you, as before. You cannot possibly write to me every day without neglecting some more urgent job, so please don’t attempt to do it. I will be quite content with an occasional letter… just to maintain contact, as it were.<\/p>\n
